100th Anniversary Committee Member

Anniversary Member

Time Commitment of approximately 6 hours/month.

Participation will virtual for initial planning, and in-person once events begin.

We are seeking 5 volunteers for this role.

Volunteers should have an interest in communication and school history, but no specific experience in required.

During the 2022-2023 school year we will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the opening of the current Roosevelt campus! While the school's founding dates back to 1906 with the opening of James John High School, we are excited to celebrate this centennial as well. The committee will plan multiple events throughout the school year to honor various important moments in RHS history, and the wide range of interests our students and alumni hold.

Duties & Responsibilities

Attend at least one committee meeting per month during the commitment period.
Meetings will take the form of in person or virtual/email depending upon the needs of those participating. Meetings may be held more than once per month.
Assist in planning and coordination of all Anniversary events.
Hands-on volunteer for every Anniversary event (pre-event prep, event setup, event manning, or event clean-up).
Assist in communicating/coordinating with other organizations participating in events.
