Student Representative

One aspect of our mission as the Roosevelt High School Alumni Association is to support the current students of Roosevelt High School. In order to best do this, student voice is imperative.

The organization will be electing up to two current students to present a student voice towards our ongoing work. These students will serve a term of one school year.

Applicants must be a current RHS junior or sophomore and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applications are due on June 6th, 2025. The following application must be completed in entirety.

Applications will be reviewed at the June Association meeting, and all applicants will be notified of their status by June 30th.

Applications are now closed.

Student Representatives will be required to attend the three Board of Directors meetings during their term. These meetings are hosted in the RHS Library, and are discussion sessions for the RHSAA to talk about our wide variety of projects. They are held from 6:00-8:00pm on the following dates: If special circumstances arise close to one of these dates, we can discuss alternative plans.

At each Board of Directors meeting we will allocate an agenda item to hear from our Student Representatives. This will be a 5-10 minute opportunity for you to share news from the student body, such as recent accomplishments, upcoming events, or other items the Student Representative feels important to share with the organization.

On a monthly basis Student Representatives will submit an upcoming event or project for alumni to attend or support. This will be emailed to the Executive Committee by the 1st of every month, and then shared with our wider alumni base.

Note: As this year will be our very first with Student Representatives, those elected will be able to craft what this duty looks like for future years.
