Time commitment 2-3 hours/month, depending on projects.
Participation will be virtual and over email.
We are seeking 2 volunteers for this role.
Volunteers should have strong writing skills and the ability to turn provided information into clear, engaging narratives.
Tell the stories of individuals connected to the Alumni Association, from scholarship recipients and board members to Hall of Fame
inductees and notable alumni. This role focuses on turning facts and history into narratives that honor experience, achievement,
and legacy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Write short biographical profiles based on provided information and historical research, resulting in clear,
well-written narratives for public sharing.
- Revise drafts as needed based on feedback from the Communications Committee or relevant reviewers.
- Review biographical content written by other volunteers and provide feedback or suggested revisions as needed.
- Attend any Communications Committee meetings or participate in Committee discussions.
- Meetings will likely be in the form of email and only occur when special topics arise.
Collaborate closely with the Communications Committee and work with a wide range of RHSAA committees as biographical content is developed,
including committees responsible for scholarships, honors, and historical recognition.
