Time commitment 4-6 hours/month, depending on active fundraising needs.
Participation will be hybrid, with most communication via email and phone, and occasional in-person coordination as needed.
We are seeking 2 volunteers for this role.
Volunteers should be comfortable conducting independent research, organizing information clearly, and communicating via email.
Fundraising efforts benefit from thoughtful planning and a clear understanding of what works. Volunteers who take time to explore different
fundraising models and approaches help bring informed ideas to the table, strengthening how the organization prepares for future initiatives.
By learning and sharing that knowledge, they contribute to fundraising efforts that are realistic, well-considered, and aligned with the
community.
Duties & Responsibilities
- - Research fundraising approaches in response to identified financial needs.
-    Search online for examples from similar organizations, and learn about broader fundraising strategies.
- - Develop clear, written fundraising proposals that outline a realistic campaign plan in collaboration with the other
Fundraising Strategist(s).
- - Review relevant past efforts as needed to inform recommendations.
- - (Optional) Assist with the execution of an approved fundraising initiatives.
- - Attend Executive Committee meetings held on even-numbered months to support discussion of volunteer needs.
Collaborate with the Executive Committee, and Board of Directors at-large.
