Golf Tournament Liaison
Time commitment 3 hours/month.
Participation will primarily be in-person.
We are seeking 2 volunteers for this role.
Volunteers should have an interest in golf and event planning.
The Roosevelt Boosters currently run the Annual Roosevelt High School Golf Tournament, which celebrated its 64th event this past summer.
They have a committed yet small team, and in the coming years, they aim to transition the event under the Alumni Association. As part of
this transition, we plan to establish a committee within our organization to take on smaller responsibilities that will contribute to the
event's continued success. Volunteers on this new committee will have the opportunity to influence our collaboration with the Boosters
and ensure the legacy of this historic event endures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend the Boosters' planning sessions for the 2025 Tournament.
- Take notes, ask questions, and generally begin to understand the work that goes into the event.
- Assist with a fundraiser a the 2025 Tournament.
- Likely the existing silent auction/raffle that takes place during the Tournament dinner.
- Share all findings with the RHSAA at board meetings.
- Develop documentation on the planning process behind the event.
