Veterans Memorial Gardener
Time commitment 2 hours/month.
Participation will be in-person on campus.
We are seeking 2 volunteers for this role.
Volunteers should have an interest in gardening.
The Alumni Association maintains a Memorial Garden on campus

dedicated to our alumni veterans and their families.
This peaceful space is open to the public and serves as a place of remembrance and reflection. Volunteers help maintain the
garden by keeping the area clean, cared for, and appropriately decorated so visitors can continue to experience it with respect.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Visit the Memorial Garden once per month to perform basic upkeep, including clearing debris, pulling weeds, trimming greenery, and wiping the memorial stones.
- This can be done at any time on the volunteer’s own schedule.
- Place flowers or decorations on special holidays such as Memorial Day.
- Communicate any maintenance needs to the Veterans Committee to support ongoing upkeep of the garden.
