Time commitment 6 hours/month.
Participation will be virtual and over email.
We are seeking 3 volunteers for this role.
Volunteers should have an interest in writing, and be comfortable using Word or Google Docs.
Newsletter Contributors help write sections of the monthly email newsletter using provided information. This role is
ideal for volunteers who enjoy writing and want a flexible, behind-the-scenes way to contribute to our alumni community
on a monthly basis.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare short newsletter blurbs from provided information within a one-week turnaround each month.
- Revise written content as requested based on reviewer feedback.
- Attend any Communications Committee meetings or participate in Committee discussions.
- Meetings will likely be in the form of email and only occur when special topics arise.
Collaborate with the Communications Committee at large. Receive information from the Chair, and discuss newsletter content
with other writers and reviewers.
