Time commitment 2-4 hours/month.
Participation will be primarily virtual. Occasional in-person pickup of physical photos may be needed a few times per year.
We are seeking 2 volunteers for this role.
Volunteers should have an interest in historic photography and preservation, comfort doing basic digital photo cleanup
and restoration using a software of their choosing.
Help preserve historic photographs that tell the visual story of our school and community. This role focuses on making older
images usable, findable, and cared for so moments, people, and places from the past aren’t lost to time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform light digital cleanup of scanned historic photos to improve clarity and usability.
- Organize and manage digital photo files within the RHSAA’s shared storage system so images can be
easily located when needed.
- Occasionally scan physical photographs when originals surface.
- Assist the History Committee in locating specific images for displays, research, or communications projects.
- Attend any History Committee meetings or participate in Committee discussions.
- Most conversations will take place via email, with occasional meetings 2-3 times per year.
