Trade School Scholarship Advisor

Time commitment is flexible and determined by the volunteer as the program is developed and launched through the 2027 award cycle.


Participation will primarily be virtual and over email.


We are seeking 1 volunteer for this role.


Volunteer must have first-hand experience with trade school programs or trade-related scholarships, either as a recipient or through professional involvement.

Expanding our scholarship program to include trade school pathways reflects the many ways Roughriders build their futures after graduation. Using real-world experience to help shape the program offers an opportunity to support students pursuing skilled trades for years to come. The foundation built now will guide how this scholarship grows and evolves in the future.

Duties & Responsibilities


- Develop and propose a framework for a new Trade School Scholarship program, including eligibility, application approach, and overall structure.
   Review RHSAA’s existing college scholarship process for reference while shaping a program that reflects trade school pathways.
- Attend one or two Executive Committee meetings to present the program outline for approval.
- Provide light advisory support during the first award cycle as the program is implemented.
- (Optional) Serve on the Trade School Scholarship selection committee for the Class of 2027 cycle.
Coordinate with the Executive Committee and consult with the Scholarship Committee during program development.
